The ND Legislature Wants to Help You Help the RRRMC
North Dakota members and friends wanting to help the educational firearm safety program and youth programs of the Red River Regional Marksmanship Center (RRRMC) could be eligible for a state income tax credit, thanks to the North Dakota Legislature.
Individuals making a gift may qualify for an income tax credit of 40% of their gift up to a maximum credit of $10,000 per person, or $20,000 per married couple. Gifts of at least $5,000 to the permanent endowment of the Dakota Marksmanship Foundation (DMF) for the benefit of the RRRMC qualify for the 40% North Dakota tax credit.
Unused tax credits may be carried forward for three years.
Businesses, including corporations, partnerships, estates, LLC’s, and trusts are eligible for a similar 40% income tax credit, the exception being financial institutions. This credit can also be carried forward for up to three years.
For more information on how you can help the RRRMC through a qualified gift to the Dakota Marksmanship Foundation, please contact Tom Thompson (701-255-4601) or Rick Jorgensen (701-662-4760).
