Safety

Safety is non-negotiable. It is the foundation of everything we do.

The Four Universal Safety Rules

These rules apply everywhere, every time, no exceptions.

1

Treat every firearm as if it is loaded

Always handle firearms with the assumption that they are loaded, even if you believe otherwise.

2

Never point the muzzle at anything you are not willing to destroy

Always be aware of your muzzle direction and keep it pointed in a safe direction at all times.

3

Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire

Your finger should rest along the frame of the firearm, not on the trigger, until you have made the decision to shoot.

4

Be sure of your target and what is beyond it

Always positively identify your target and be aware of what is behind and around it before firing.

Range Rules

Please follow all posted rules and RSO instructions.

  • Always follow the direction of the Range Safety Officer (RSO).
  • Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times on the range.
  • No eating or drinking while on the range.
  • All firearms must be unloaded and cased when not on the firing line.
  • No handling of firearms behind the firing line.
  • Cease fire immediately when the command is given.
  • No cross-firing between lanes.
  • Forced Reset Trigger's (FRTs) are not allowed.
  • Report any unsafe behavior to the RSO immediately.
  • No alcohol or drug use before or during range time.
  • Wash your hands with de-lead soap when you are finished shooting.
  • Clean up your lane and dispose of brass and targets properly.
